Lisa Mull is a Grand Rapids, Michigan native with a doctoral degree in clinical psychology from Pacific University. She is a Veteran of the United States Air Force. Her artwork has been displayed in multiple galleries in Michigan.
Mull's work is where psychology and art overlap. Her work is focused on issues related to the human experience: emotions, mental health, identity, social expectations, fantasy, and the subconscious.
Her paintings, illustrations, and linocut prints are low brow, whimsical, and vibrantly colorful or monochromatic. Media use includes watercolor, ink, spray paint, acrylics, and colored pencils.
